Mandatory Government requirements for 10% Bio-diversity Net Gain (BNG) have now been implemented- as of the 12th of February for all planning applications in England and Wales for all developments subject to the Town and Country Planning Act (TCPA). This will often apply to both the build of new electricity transmission assets, as well as developer specific user assets, and must be considered as part of any project plans.
